Level Infinite has announced the upcoming Summer Season update for GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, featuring a supernatural-themed story event titled “BOOM! THE GHOST!”, set to launch on July 17. The storyline follows players investigating a haunted cruise ship where mysterious occurrences escalate into full-blown paranormal activity, prompting the creation of ghost-hunting gear.
The update introduces two new SSR characters:
- Dorothy: Serendipity, who searches for her precious wings, Pinne, drawn by a silhouette on a photo
- Elegg: Boom and Shock, who investigates the powered ship’s hidden secrets
Players can also expect:
- Three brand-new swimsuit costumes and a return of four past seasonal favourites
- New boss challenge and mini-game
Beyond in-game content, NIKKE expands its presence with global fan experiences:
- Melodies of Victory, the franchise’s first-ever orchestral concert, will stream free on YouTube for a limited time
- Doro Family Summer Tour, running July 18–25, includes stops in New York City, Osaka, Seoul, Taipei and Bangkok. Highlights include a 10-metre-tall Doro Cruise Ship on the Hudson River (July 18–19) and special events in Bangkok starting July 13 at Siam Square and July 20 at Samyan Mitr Town Hall.
- Anime NYC: From August 21–24, NIKKE will exhibit at the Javits Center with official merchandise and themed booths.
