Using Gmail’s Smart Compose feature, Google automatically suggests email subject lines for you. This new feature enables easier communication in your email platform. Smart Compose guesses the next part of your sentences while you are typing and offers suggestions such as “Looking forward to hear from you” or thanking them at the end of an email. Replying emails are faster and more efficient with Gmail’s Smart Compose.

After writing your email response, Gmail may suggest a subject based on the content. For example, Gmail could suggest “Congratulations” for an email to a friend for a job promotion. Gmail’s new Smart Compose feature will be unveiled gradually to all users. The function is on by default but you can turn it off in the settings.
