After so long, Gmail has finally introduced a much-needed update, turning important information like addresses, phone numbers and other email addresses into hyperlinks. This update is now available on both Android and iOS devices using Gmail.
By clicking on an address link, it will lead the user to Google Maps while clicking on an email will compose a new email to said person. For phone numbers, it will start a call request using the default phone app on your device.
The roll-out is expected to happen in the next day or two with Google’s aim of enriching your productivity and efficiency.
