Unlike previous editions where the iPhones were restricted to carriers who committed large amount of units, this year the phones have been opened for distributionship among selected rights holders. Since carriers of late have cut down their orders after failing on numerous occasion to clear the stocks due to ambitious forecasts, Apple has decided its time for open season. This time around, customers can get the latest releases at official retail outlets and can even preorder directly from the vendors.

SNS Network, an MSC status company who is also an authorised Apple reseller is already inviting users to show interest by registering on their site.  Another established organisation which earlier this year was awarded rights to sell iPhones is ECS Malaysia, the company has been selling Apple products and now will be making the new iPhone 7 and Plus available across selected outlets nationwide.

If you prefer online, Lazada is offering the phones for competitive price, iPrice lists the online retailer as having the best deal in the market, A quick check showed the 32GB iPhone 7 will set you back RM3199 while the Plus of similar storage will cost RM3799, if you fancy the 128GB version, prepare to splash out RM3699 and RM4299 respectively. And top of the pile is the 256GB which is going for RM4199 and RM4799.

So, before you decide to port over or sign up a new plan just to get your hand on the phone that promises to do more than before, do compare prices as the phone is price controlled and will not see price fluctuations.

However, some retailers will be giving bundle offers to sweeten the deals, Lazada is giving RM59 in gifts, and brick and mortar outlets could also be competitive with their offers.
