Garmin launched their latest iterations of the smartwatches, the Fenix 6 Series. The next gen of its flagship GPS multisport smartwatch lineup was made for adventure. The Fenix 6 collection includes Power Manager for longer battery life, and Body Battery energy monitoring feature which helps users manage their workout schedules, rest times, and sleep. There’ll be three watches, the fenix 6S, fenix 6X and fenix 6. They basically feature a larger display, and they claim to get 90 days worth of battery, so that’s something alright.
“We understand the need for more power for longer usage of our multisport products and we are thrilled to introduce new innovative features to enhance the power management of the fenix 6X Pro Solar edition, giving users all the features they’ve come to expect from the fenix lineup with increased battery life and larger diplays. We’ve built the fenix 6 to redefine expectations, with enhanced features and design elements to appeal to adventurers of every kind, in any environment.” said Engelhard (AI) Sundoro, Managing Director of Garmin Southeast Asia.
The fenix 6 and fenix 6x GPS watches are constructed to be a trimmer, more comfortable fit on the rist, and has a 1.3″ and 1.4″ display respectively. In addition to that, they’ve also introduced new QuickFit nylon bands and silicone colours, which is a smart move for an ‘adventurers’ smartwatch. There’s also a Sapphire edition that adds the quality and durability of the scratch-resistant sapphire lens and other high-performance premium materials.
The watches will be available from 30th August 2019, and the fenix 6 series price ranges from RM 2999 to RM 5699 and is available at all authorised Garmin retailers. For more information, visit the link here!
