Alongside the launch of the Lenovo Legion Y920 gaming laptop, Lenovo has two other surprised in-stored – the Lenovo Legion Y520 Tower as well as the Lenovo Legion Y720 Tower. These two towers epitomise what gamers need in a gaming rig with its top-of-the-line specs as well as being VR-ready.
First up is the Lenovo Legion Y720 Tower with two available variants: the 7th Gen. Intel Core i5-7400 or i7-7700 processor. The Legion Y720 Tower also comes with four GPU variants. You can choose between the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, 1060 or 1050 Ti GPU or the AMD Radeon RX 570 GPU.
The Lenovo Legion Y720 Tower comes with 512GB SATA HDD along with 2TV SATA HDD. It can also hold up to 32GB of DDR4 memory. In terms of ports, the Legion Y720 Tower has an abundant amount; it has six USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, a headphone and microphone jack combo, a HDMI port, an RJ45 Gigabit LAN port, a PS/2 port, six audio ports with S/PDIF and a 7-in-1 card reader.
It weighs just shy over 14 kg and has a volume of 34l, which gives it a rather large footprint. A great feature of the Legion Y720 Tower is its self-upgrading of graphics cards, storage drives and RAM cards. This makes it easier for you to keep up with the latest offerings without having to ruin the pre-built setup.
The Lenovo Legion Y520 Tower on the other hand, also comes with its flexible self-upgrading approach, giving you the chance to swap out optical drives, storage drives and RAM cards. The Legion Y520 Tower also gives greater flexibility in terms of choosing which variant suits you. It features either the 7th Gen. Intel Core i3-7100, i5-7400 or i7-7700 processor alongside three GPU alternatives. You can either have the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or 1050 Ti or even the AMD Radeion RX 560 GPU.
The Lenovo Legion Y520 Tower can also carry up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 256GB PCIe SSD as well as 2TB HDD. Unfortunately, the Lenovo Legion Y520 Tower doesn’t come with the same amount of ports as it only has four USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, a microphone and headphone jack combo, a HDMI port and an RJ45 Gigabit LAN port.
Both the Lenovo Legion Y720 and Lenovo Legion Y520 Towers are now available at Lenovo Exclusive Stores as well as Lenovo Multi Brand Stores at RM7,799 and RM4,999 respectively.
