Fujifilm launched their instax SQUARE SQ10 and instax mini 9 in Malaysia.
The instax SQUARE SQ10 is a hybrid instant camera that shoots in square format – for a 1:1 ratio – and comes with digital image sensor and digital image processing technology, giving users the ability to do image editing/processing before printing.
The instax SQUARE SQ10 comes with 10 filters, brightness control and vignette control. The integrated operation dial buttons on the back of the camera and the graphic interface which directly displays the image editing status in the LCD monitor enable the simple and intuitive operability through editing/processing and printing.
It has a dual shutter system with two shutter buttons – one on the right and one on the left. The lens ring is made with metallic finish and the solid black body has a sense of depth and variety throughout the solid black body.
Thumbnail images can also be printed as displayed (up to nine thumbnail images can be displayed at any one time).
Also launched was the instax mini 9 – successor of the mini 8. The instax mini 9 comes with a selfie mirror and a close up lens – making it easier to take selfies and instantly print while taking out the guess work. It also features the popular features from the mini 8 including automatic exposure measurement for aperture settings and high-key mode for brighter photos. The instax mini 9 comes in 5 colours – Flamingo Pink, Lime Green, Cobalt Blue, Smoky White and Icy Blue.
Both cameras will be available nationwide on 22 May – but customers can get it now till 21 May from Avenue K Japan Festival roadshow and Wonder Photo Shop located in Sunway Pyramid and Isetan, Lot 10. The instax SQUARE SQ10 will retail at RM 1328, and the instax mini 9 will be priced at RM 348.
