Located in Cyberjaya, JaoSamut Restaurant proved to be a good culinary experience during my recent dinner outing with a friend.
The cozy ambiance set the stage for a satisfying meal, and we opted for Siakap 3 Rasa and Tomyam Chicken among other delectable selections.
I was rather excited to see other menus like SomTam, Kerabu and Mango Sticky Rice, but as our original plan is to try the Tomyam, we decide to try other menus later.
The star of the evening was the Siakap 3 Rasa, a mouthwatering dish featuring a 500-gram Siakap fish for an affordable RM29.
The sweet, sour, and spicy flavors blended seamlessly, creating a tantalizing burst of taste.
The generous portion size left us completely satisfied, and the addition of pineapple as a condiment added a unique twist. It’s worth noting that to those who not fond of pineapple in their dish can easily make their preferences known.
The Tomyam Chicken, priced at RM14, showcased the restaurant’s commitment to rich and authentic flavors.
While the dish leaned towards the sour side, it was well-executed and boasted a robust combination of spices.
This one is definitely my friend’s favourite, the Tomyam broth was all gone at the end of our dinner.
The portion was surprisingly ample; in fact, we found it to be more than enough for two people and even joked that it could easily satisfy three!
Accompanying our flavorful feast were two large servings of plain rice for RM6, which is more than enough of that I can eat. Even transfer some of them to my friend’s plate.
Two refreshing glasses of plain water at an affordable RM0.50 each.
The pricing for the entire meal, totaling RM50, was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the dishes we enjoyed.
Personally, the Siakap 3 Rasa stole the show for me with its perfect balance of flavors and satisfying portions.
However, the Tomyam Chicken, despite being slightly tangier than my preference, was still a commendable dish.
Overall, JaoSamut Restaurant in Cyberjaya offers a winning combination of delicious food, cozy ambiance, and pocket-friendly prices.
