Eurocom, who make high-performance custom laptops, has announced a 780W external PSU that’s designed for PCs and expensive laptops alike. This PSU complies with connectors that are of the four-conductor DIN-type variant.

This PSU is rated for a maximum load of 39 amperes but is not 80 PLUS certified. It also weighs 1.7 kilograms and is pretty sizable at 325mm X 40mm X 110mm. For US$475, this PSU can solve the issue faced by owners of some of Eurocom’s laptops which sometimes use 2 separate 330W PSUs.
