Epson’s Inkjet printers are helping businesses and SMEs and more save money, time and resources. How exactly it does this, is because of the efficiency of their products in itself. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is how much a product costs you, or your organisation in the long run. This will take into account multiple aspects of the cost to own the product such as installing, training, cost to operate, and of course energy use. However, Epson’s Inkjet lineup of devices are set to be a saver in regards to a myriad of aspects.
We got our hands on the Epson EcoTank L3150 printer to check this out ourselves. As a publishing company, we print a lot monthly. We do have two magazines published each month, so that means a lot of drafts, and prints for checks, and such. We had to find a cost effective way of printing, and that’s what Epson’s Inkjet lineup is all about. Based on Epson’s TCO calculator, our Total Cost of Ownership is just RM 787 for a year. In hindsight, that really isn’t that much when you take into account amount of prints, maintenance, and other cost factors.
Mostly of course, it seems to be attributed to the low price of a bottle of ink. Coming at RM 23.60 per bottle per colour, that seems to be a good deal when the minimum page yield is 4500. The printer doesn’t even skimp on quality, as we found it to be exactly what we needed, with minimal smudges and a good quality.
But with that being said, the Epson EcoTank L3150 is perfect for a small office, or even a home. If you’re looking to be sustainable, of course.
