For those who picked up the Honor 6X and have been mulling on the arrival of the new 5.o interface from Huawei, well need not be waiting any longer, as EMUI 5.0 is now available for download.

This update coupled with Android Nougat 7.0, is here and brings all the goodies unveiled during IFA back in late last year. Apart from features rendered with Nougat, the new interface is much lighter with its simplistic UI and complex on the back end with its Machine Learning Algorithm. The AI reads user habits and optimises the phone’s processing priorities to suit the style of use, creating a device that is accustomed to user behaviour.

Security feature is also enhanced with the new UI coming with a virus scan that can detect known and unknown virus before users open a hyperlinks. The phone now can scan these hyperlinks in real time and will be alerted if any scams and viruses are detected in the scan.
