ASUS launches their ZenFone 4 series in Taiwan today, and these are the first details we have on those phones.

Phones that will be landing on Malaysian shores will be the ZenFone 4 Max Pro, the ZenFone 4 Selfie and the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro. All phones will come with a 5.5-inch screen, running Android 7 with ZenUI 4.0 out of the box. The ZenUI 4.0 will feature less bloatwares.
The flagship ZenFone 4 (priced at USD 399) is set to come later in the year, while the ZenFone 4 Pro (priced at USD 599) might not make an appearance in Malaysia. Rumour has it, ZenFone 4 variant in Malaysia will be sporting a Snapdragon 630, with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM.

Headlining the series is the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro. With a mid-range Snapdragon 625 Octa core processor, it will be stocked with 64GB storage with 4GB RAM. The Selfie Pro uses dual front camera giving 24MP resolution. The rear camera brings 16MP at F2.2.
ZenFone Selfie version will be priced at RM 1,299, sporting a Snapdragon 430, 64GB storage, 4GB RAM and 3000mAh battery. The dual front camera combines a 20MP resolution with 120 degree wide angle lens. The rear camera comes in at 16MP.
The Zenfone 4 Max Pro will be sporting Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Quad core processor. Coming with 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM, it is fitted with a massive 5000mAh battery. It will feature a 16MP front camera along with a dual rear camera.
The phones will be available for pre-order between 17 – 24 August to get a ASUS ZenPower 10050mAh and other bundle goods from ASUS Malaysia. The phones will be available for sale in Malaysia from 25th August.
ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro retails with bundle gifts including selfie sticks, OTG cable, micro USB cable, screen protector, 16GB micro SD card and a 10050mAh ASUS ZenFone powerbank worth RM99. The Zenfone 4 Selfie and ZenFone 4 Max comes with the same bundle, sans the 16GB micro SD card.
ASUS guaranteed that all ZenFone 4 will be upgraded to Android O. ASUS ZenFone 3 will also receive ZenUI 4.0 upgrade, with Android O upgrade as well.
