Econpile, SKL Signed MOU, Contribute To The Construction of Highway Along The Klang River

Econpile Holdings Berhad, a specialist in piling and foundation works, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a proposed collaboration with Sungai Klang Link Sdn Bhd (SKL).

The collaboration aims to participate in the construction of an elevated highway project proposed by SKL to the Government of Malaysia.

“We welcome Econpile onboard with us to undertake this project together. Their expertise and reputation as one of the largest deep foundation specialists in Malaysia will be a significant aspect in building the highway. Together, we will aim to build it with highest of standards for the rakyat.”

“Our long-term goal from this project does not only focus on improving the connectivity,
but also to emphasize on rehabilitating the river, preserving the environment during operation of the highway, and looking after the community through impactful projects.”

Econpile’s subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, will provide its expertise in piling, pile-cap, and foundation works for the project.

“Econpile has built a strong track record of over 30 years in piling and foundation works for a myriad of private and public projects, including infrastructure works. He added, “With our extensive fleet of machineries, we are ready to provide our expertise for the project and be in line with SKL’s environmental and sustainability goals.”

The proposed highway, stretching 53km along the Klang River in Klang Valley, is in its final stages of approval by the Government.

The collaboration between Econpile and SKL is set to contribute to the development of this significant infrastructure project.
