EA’s subscription service, EA Access is now coming to PS4, almost 5 years after debuting on Microsoft’s systems. EA Access is a monthly subscription service will give gamers unlimited access to select EA games like, Battlefield V, Star Wars: Battlefront II, FIFA, and others. The subscription gives users early access to new EA games at launch before they’re added to the library. Subscribers of EA Access will also have access (haha, get it) to 10% discounts on EA games, expansions or in-game purchases.

The service is expected to be available in July for Playstation users, and that sounds pretty cool. The plans so far for EA Access have been set for $30 (RM 125) for a years subscription and $4.99 (RM 20) for monthly. With the advent of subscription services being more and more rampant, its no surprise Sony is collaborating with EA on this. Reports say that subscriptions to PS+, Playstation’s own subscription service, increased by 200% since the launch of the PS4. But with all this news, will this be a repeat of Playstation Now? Playstation Now is Sony’s answer to games on a subscription, but if EA Access comes to gamers in Malaysia before ‘Now’ does, I think we’ve got some questions for Sony.

But anyway, for you EA fanboys, this must sound like some good news. However, not sure how I feel about Apex Legends being on the list, that’s already free, you know?
