Digi Customers Can Now Pre-Order The Huawei Mate 30 Series; Still No Google Though

Digi is now opening pre-orders for the latest Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro lineup, starting from now until 13th November at all Digi Stores nationwide with Digi’s easy ownership programme PhoneFreedom 365 (PF365).

For the first 250 customers to pre-order the flagship phones will receive gifts worth up to RM656 – a Huawei PU Back Casing (worth RM68), Huawei SuperCharge Wireless Car Charger (worth RM289) and Huawei Care, which includes a one-year extended warranty and 6-month screen crack warranty (worth RM299).

You can preorder the flagship phones at Digi stores nationwide from 11 – 13 November, and collect the phone and free gifts from the same store from 15 – 17 November.

Customers who are not able to place the pre-order will not miss out as well – all sign-ups from the official launch day on 15 November will also receive two free gifts worth up to RM357, which are the Huawei PU Back Casing (worth RM68) and Huawei SuperCharge Wireless Car Charger (worth RM289), while stocks last.

But the funny thing is, they put something in their ‘notes’, and at the top of their page.

“Huawei Mate 30/Mate 30 Pro comes with Huawei Mobile Service (HMS) and no longer Google Mobile Service. For more info, click here.“

I mean, I was questioning it myself when I read this on whether their version would have Google (but of course it wouldn’t), but they mentioned it so nonchalantly. The phones run on Huawei Mobile Service, so you’re not going to get the official port of Google services to the phone. But you can get it through other means, if you know where to look.
