Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 6 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 9,291 cases, with 188 active cases as of August 26. The 6 new cases are broken down as 1 imported and 5 domestic.

7 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 8,978. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 96.63 percent.

There are currently 9 cases being treated in the ICU, with 6 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus stays the same at a total of 125.
