Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 660 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 17, 540 cases, with 5,768 active cases as of October 14. The 660 new cases are broken down as 6 imported and 654 domestic.

233 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 11, 605. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 66.16 percent.

There are currently 108 cases being treated in the ICU, with 35 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases by 4 to a total of 167.
