Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 13 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 8,956 cases, with 212 active cases as of July 28.
8 of the 13 new cases are imported, with 5 cases being local transmission cases.
6 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 8,612. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 96.16% percent.
There are now currently 2 cases being treated in the ICU, with 1 case on ventilation support.
The MoH have also reported no new deaths as of July 28, keeping Malaysia’s death toll at 124.
