Covid-19: MoH Reports Double Digit Cases As Locally Transmitted Cases Rise Daily

Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 23 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 8,884 cases, with 167 active cases as of July 25.

6 of the 23 new cases are imported, with 17 being local transmission cases.

17 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 8594. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 96.74% percent.

There are currently 3 cases being treated in the ICU, with 2 cases on ventilation support.

The MoH have also reported no new deaths as of May 4, keeping Malaysia’s death toll at 123.
