Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 589 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 18, 129 cases, with 5,945 active cases as of October 15. The 589 new cases are broken down as 3 imported and 586 domestic.

409 new case have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 12, 014. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 66.27 percent.

There are currently 103 cases being treated in the ICU, with 31 cases on ventilation support.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases by 3 to a total of 170.
