Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 94 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5945 cases, with 1758 active cases as of April 29.
Of the 94 new cases reported, 72 were imported cases of Malaysian students studying in Indonesia with the rest of the 22 from local infections.
55 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 4087. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 68.75 percent.
There are currently 40 cases being treated in the ICU, with 28 cases on ventilation support.
The total number of deaths from the coronavirus stays at 100, with no new deaths as of today.
