Today, the Ministry of Health have identified 57 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 6002 cases, with 1729 active cases as of April 30.
84 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 4171. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 69.49 percent.
There are currently 36 cases being treated in the ICU, with 14 cases on ventilation support.
The total number of deaths from the coronavirus increases with two new deaths bringing the total death toll to 102.
Death case 101, was case 4657, a 64-year old male who had a history of blood cancer, and was in close contact with case 4476 who was from the PUI Bali cluster. He was treated at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afza in Pahang.
Death case 102, was case 5282, a 72-year old male had a history of blood cancer. He was treated at Hospital Umum Sarawak.
