Today, the Ministry of Health identified 50 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 7,059 with 1,149 active cases as of May 21.

Of all the new cases reported, three cases are imported.

90 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 5796. This brings Malaysia to a recovery percentage of 82.11.

There are currently 10 cases being treated in the ICU, with seven cases on ventilation support.

The MoH also reported no new deaths as of May 21, keeping Malaysia’s death toll to Covid-19 at 114.
