Today, the Ministry of Health identified 47 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 6,941 with 1,213 active cases as of May 18.

Of all the new cases reported, 21 cases are imported.

44 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 5615. This brings Malaysia to a recovery percentage of 80.90.

There are currently 13 cases being treated in the ICU, with six cases on ventilation support.

The MoH also reported no new deaths as of May 18, keeping Malaysia’s death toll to Covid-19 at 113.
