Today, the Ministry of Health identified 45 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 6,428, with 1,619 active cases as of May 6.

Out of the 45 new cases, only one is an imported case.

135 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 4,702. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 73.15% percent.

There are currently 22 cases being treated in the ICU, with 9 cases on ventilation support.

The MoH unfortunately reported one new death as of May 6, increasing Malaysia’s death toll to 107.
