Today, the Ministry of Health identified 39 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 6,467, with 1,584 active cases as of May 7.

Out of the new cases, only one is an imported case.

74 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 4,776. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 73.85% percent.

There are currently 19 cases being treated in the ICU, with 8 cases on ventilation support.

The MoH also reported no new deaths as of May 7, keeping Malaysia’s death toll to Covid-19 at 107.
