Covid 19: MoH Reports 37 New Cases And Two New Deaths

Today, the Ministry of Health identified 37 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 6,779 with 1,387 active cases as of May 13.

Out of the new cases, four cases are imported.

58 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 5281. This also brings Malaysia to a recovery case percentage of 77.90% percent.

There are currently 16 cases being treated in the ICU, with four cases on ventilation support.

The MoH also reported two new deaths as of May 13, increasing Malaysia’s death toll to Covid-19 at 111.

Case 110 who died of the coronavirus, was case 6743, a 30-year old male was found dead in Rompin, Pahang and is still under police investigation.

Case 111 was case 5195, a 90-year old male who was treated at Hospital Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom, Johor, and had a history of high blood pressure and breathing difficulties.
