Today, the Ministry of Health identified 37 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 6,978 with 1,218 active cases as of May 19.

Of all the new cases reported, two cases are imported.

31 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 5646. This brings Malaysia to a recovery percentage of 80.91.

There are currently 11 cases being treated in the ICU, with six cases on ventilation support.

The MoH also reported one new deaths as of May 19, increasing Malaysia’s death toll to Covid-19 at 114.
