Today, the Ministry of Health identified 22 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 6,894 with 1,210 active cases as of May 17.

59 new cases have recovered, bringing the total of recovered cases to 5571.

There are currently 13 cases being treated in the ICU, with seven cases on ventilation support.

The MoH also reported no new deaths as of May 17, keeping Malaysia’s death toll to Covid-19 at 113.
