There’s a Kickstarter Campaign aimed at bringing snoring to an end for a lot of people. It’s called the ‘Anti Snore Wearable’ and you can pretty much surmise what it the project is just by looking at that title. This miracle cure is actually rather straightforward. It consists of two components, the wearable and its accompanying ‘Do I Snore’ App.

The wearable is an armband that vibrates when the app detects snoring sounds. The vibration encourages the sleeper to turn and sleep on his/her side, which has been proven to help.

But even the team behind the project admits it’s not a guaranteed treatment. They explicitly state that it only works for those who snore when they sleep on their backs. This makes up about 70% of snorers, the remainder need to look elsewhere, especially those who suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

With 30 days to go, the project has so far garnered just over 10% of its required US$100,000 goal, with money coming from over 140 backers at the time of this report.
