When it comes to collabs, the Converse Chuck 70 has had its fair share. The iconic silhouette is probably the most popular sneaker in the Converse locker and for good reason too. That being said, Carhartt WIP has linked up with the Nike-owned brand for a stunning tri-colour  collaboration of their own.

To add a feather on the cap of this sick looking collab, the sneaker is produced from vintage Carhartt work jackets, trousers and overalls — all of which have been sourced from Beyond Retro. That’s right, they took pre-loved items, cut it up and turned it into the beauty that is the sneakers you see in the pictures above.

Aside from how well the black, beige and navy colours go together, other highlights from this Carhartt WIP x Converse release are the minor details that make this upcycled shoe special. For one, given that each piece of material is vintage and has its own unique patina, no two pairs of the shoes are the same. On top of that, there’s the exposed stitching and Carhartt WIP branding on the tongue and heel.

The sneaker is set to release on May 28th on the the Converse web store, Carhartt site and select retailers. You don’t want to miss out on this drop!
