The 2025 PUBG MOBILE Super League Southeast Asia (PMSL SEA) Summer season is underway in Jakarta, featuring 24 of the region’s top teams competing for a US$200,000 prize pool and a coveted qualifying spot at the Esports World Cup.
Running from June 4 to 22, the tournament’s league phase is held weekly from Wednesday to Sunday, with the top 16 teams progressing to the Grand Finals. The finals will be held offline from June 20 to 22 at BASKETHALL GBK, Senayan, Jakarta.
This season introduces the “Smash Rule” during the Super Weekend. Teams must hit a Match Point threshold—set by adding 10 points to the first-place leaderboard team—and secure a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD) to claim the weekly title. If no team meets the criteria, up to eight matches will be played to determine the weekly champion based on total points.
Six Malaysian teams—CelcomDigi Alliance (CDAL), SEM9, HomeBois (HB), Maqna Esports Club (MEC), New Era (NWE), and Todak (TDK)—are among the contenders. While CDAL and SEM9 return with their established lineups, others like Todak and HomeBois have revamped their rosters with notable additions including two-time champion FRENTZY and returning star Syamil.
Malaysia’s 16-year-old prodigy RAYYAN (aka RIOO), MVP and top fragger of PMNC MY, is also making his debut on the international stage with Indonesia’s Bigetron by Vitality.
The PMSL SEA is hosted by PUBG MOBILE and supported by TECNO as the official smartphone partner and CelcomDigi as the connectivity partner.
