CelcomDigi Alliance (CDAL), Malaysia’s premier PUBG MOBILE esports team, is set to compete in the highly anticipated PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) 2024. With a reputation for dominating the Southeast Asian region, CDAL is ready to showcase their skills on the global stage alongside 47 other elite teams.
The team, which has secured a spot in the PMGC for the third consecutive year, is led by star player ADIKLUQ, often hailed as the match MVP for his quick reactions and strategic gameplay. Despite having the most PMGC points in 2023 and 2024, the elusive global championship title has remained out of reach for CDAL. However, with the addition of experienced in-game leader JIMMY, along with the growth of players like OLIYO, LEONDZ, and FLAX, the team is more determined than ever to clinch victory.
JIMMY’s leadership has been a game-changer for the team, with his transfer regarded as one of the most impactful moves in the squad’s history. His leadership has been instrumental in their success in the 2024 PUBG MOBILE SEA League (PMSL SEA), where CDAL claimed a top finish. Additionally, long-time member OLIYO has transitioned from IGL to co-IGL, further solidifying the team’s dynamic.
The 2024 PMGC will feature a competitive format, with 48 teams split into groups during the Group Stage. The top three from each group will advance straight to the Grand Finals, while those placing fourth to eleventh will compete in the Survival Stage for a chance at the finals. The Grand Finals are scheduled for December 6th to 8th, 2024.
CDAL’s journey to the top has been marked by near-misses, but their unwavering spirit and commitment continue to fuel their quest for the championship. As the team prepares for the PMGC 2024, their consistent performance and explosive potential make them a formidable opponent. ADIKLUQ and the squad are hungry for success, and 2024 may be the year they finally claim the title that has long eluded them.
