Celcom is ceasing it free wifi service given to all First Gold customers come mid May onward. The service were basically free hotspots location at public areas like restaurants, cafes, and shops given away for selected customers who can jump on the service instead of using their own data.

WifiPlus will no longer be available after 16 May with Celcom pulling the plug at all locations, customers who opted for the service paid an additional RM2 to RM18 depending on the GB they wanted added. Well looks like it was not popular under the old regime with the new management removing redundant services from the list.
