The new EXILIM EX-FR100 outdoor camera was successfully launched recently by Casio Malaysia. Just by the name alone, we can tell that the camera is designed for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits and hands-free photo-taking while also recording seamless video .

The launching of the camera was taken place at Pullman Hotel, which was blessed by Mr Takashi Niida from the Global Strategic Marketing Division of Casio Computer Co., Ltd who shared the inspiration and innovation behind the camera’s unique design. Celebrities in the likes of Juliana Evans and Iedil Putra were also present during the event to share their experiences with guests.

Mr Hiroyuki Sezai, Managing Director of Casio Malaysia Sdn Bhd, commented: “We are very excited to introduce the EXILIM FR100 to the market as it is a product we believe users will truly enjoy; especially those who have a yearning for adventure.”

Featuring a rugged design with shock, water and dust resistance, the FR100 retains the detachable design which enables users to attach the camera module to virtually anywhere via an assortment of aftermarket accessories, and use the controller remotely to capture truly unique angles of photography. The camera is also able to take selfies, outdoor activities and scenery with its new 16mm ultra wide-angle lens.

Currently, the EXILIM FR100 are available in yellow, white and black colour. The recommended selling price of the device is RM2,149. Upon purchasing the camera, users’ have an 18 month warranty as well as, bundled accessories, which includes : Carabineer Clip Attachment, Tripod Nut, Advance Selfie Stick and Action Camera Adapter.
