Canon today announced the launch of the latest imageRUNNER ADVANCE (iR-ADV) A3 colour series (iR-ADV C3320/C3325/C3330), an expansion of the iR-ADV line-up. Designed to deliver productivity and usability, the new features enable greater uptime and seamless multi-tasking capabilities.
“In today’s increasingly competitive market, there has been a growing demand for solutions that deliver greater productivity and more affordable colour printing,” said Ooi Chik Hoe, Director of Business Imaging Solutions, Canon Marketing Malaysia. “The iR-ADV C3300 series brings together a range of new features designed to improve productivity, security, and process efficiency in an environmental-friendly manner. Coupled with its compact design and ‘Vivid and Vibrant’ colour output, this new series of colour multi-function devices is well-suited for small to medium sized workgroups looking for quality printouts at a cost-efficient price point.”
Universal Send feature allows users to Scan and Send out to multiple protocols at once and the ‘Mailbox Simple’ feature allows document storage on the device.
For a quick setup guide Canon has fit in an onscreen Walkthrough Video, a first in the industry, providing step-by-step instructions to users through consumables replacement. It also comes standard with the remote operation kit, which allows IT administrative staff to resolve users’ issues in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
Added Security Features
The printers are also equipped with a Reminder LED light on the automatic document feeder that flashes upon scan and copy jobs completion preventing that accidental moments when confidential documents are left behind.
The new series also provide added security features such as User Authentication to assist enterprises in managing user access or restricting certain functions to specific users. Also with the standard Hard Disk Data Erase feature, it automatically overwrites and erases data as soon as the job is complete, thus reducing the risk of compromising sensitive information.
Value-added Finishing
The series has an optional 3-in 1 Inner Finisher. On top of the normal stapling finish, users can leverage the Staple-on-Demand feature to staple their original documents together after scanning or printing, without needing to walk back to their desks. The environmental-friendly ECO-Staple option enables users to bind a maximum of five sheets of paper together staples-free giving an easy way to shred documents without having to remove any staples.
Mobile Printing for the Increasingly Mobile Workforce
User can print on-the-go, whether it is from the desk, on the Smartphone or even tablet with the Canon Mobile Printing available on both iOS and Android mobile devices. Mobile users can also use the Canon Mobile Scanning for Business application to scan and save data to their mobile devices, cloud storage services or send it as email attachments.
Availability
The printers will be available at authorised Canon distributors and dealers in July 2015 onwards.
