Canon Launches EF L-Series Lenses and Opens Revamped Concept Store

Canon announces upgrade to the brand’s EF L-series telephoto zoom lenses. These are the EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM and the EF70-200mm f/4L IS II USM lenses. In addition to the new EF70-200mm L-series lenses, Canon also announces the re-opening of the brand’s concept store in Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur.

The EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM’s and EF70-200mm f/4L IS II USM’s feature a large aperture and improved IS mode. These help in providing stable vertical and horizontal panning. The fluorine coating on the lenses also help keep the lenses smudge-resistant.

Equipped with ring-type USM which uses ultra-sonic frequency vibrations to deliver high-speed AF, photographers can easily capture fast moving subjects and unpredictable movements using the new lenses. You can also switch from auto-focus to manual focus easily by rotating the focus ring. In addition, the EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM lens uses the new Air Sphere Coating (ASC) technology to significantly suppress any flaring or ghosting.

The new EF70-200mm f/4L IS II USM is already available in Malaysia is priced at RM5,499. The EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM will be available in the near future.

Canon’s concept store at Mid Valley Megamall also reopens with a revamped look. The Canon Image Square store will feature the full line-up of Canon consumer products. Here, visitors can also test out products they are interested in. Trained technical personnel will be on hand to assist customers in understanding the devices better. Customers will also be able to view the new EF L-Series of lenses here.
