Full-frame mirrorless cameras seems to be the flavour of the week, and joining in the mix is the recently launched Canon EOS R system. Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Canon Malaysia) unveils what it calls a revolution in photography experience today. The new system comprises a newly created EOS R Full-frame mirrorless camera, four dedicated RF lenses, three variants of RF mount adapters and a battery grip.
In addition to the EOS R range, Canon Malaysia also launches a prime EF-M lens (EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM) and two super telephoto EF lenses (EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM and EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM). Complementing its diverse line-up is a new compact and versatile Speedlite EL-100.
The EOS R body only retails are RM9,888. The EOS R body + 24-105mm kit lens is going for RM14,688. As part of the launch, Canon Malaysia is offering a pre-order promotion from 26 September to 8 October 2018. Customers who purchase during the period will receive a free mount adapter, a 64GB SD card and an LP-E6N battery pack.
