Canon Contest Top Winner Gets A 5DMark IV And Trip To Japan Worth RM20,000

photo-2-1The 10th edition of Canon PhotoMarathon competition concluded with over 400 amateur and professional photographers taking the streets of Kuala Lumpur in search of their winning shot. This year the event was themed around extreme with participants required to take three best shots for submission and return to base every time for the next assignments.

With over RM75,000 in prizes up for grabs, this year witnessed Azril Rahman having his shots take the grand prize trip for a Canon photo clinic in Japan worth RM21,000 and a unit of the latest EOS 5D Mark IV. Judges selected to pick the entries include Din Arshad of Dinarshad Studio, Star Media photo editor in chief and Zung of Photoz Studio. Second and third prize winners also walked away with Canon cameras at the KL leg that kicked off in Berjaya Times Square, a regular venue for the event. For those who missed out can still opt for the competition in Penang leg which is still open with the closing will be for 17th of this month.

Giving back to the community, Canon also managed to raise over RM13,000 for the under privileged which the company will divide to two orphan homes one in Petaling Jaya and the other in Klang.
