Call Me By Your Name Director All Set To Direct ‘Scarface’ Remake

2017’s Call Me By Your Name was a beautiful coming of age film that really put Hollywood heart throb Timothée Chalamet on the map. Based on the novel of the same name by  André Aciman , the movie went on to win numerous awards including the Academy Award for best adapted screenplay.

That being said, the long awaited remake to the 1983 hit ‘Scarface’ has finally got a director, and it’s none other than  Luca Guadagnino.

The film has been in development for 9 years and at long last, it looks like it’s finally starting to gather some steam. The iconic gangster franchise will see it’s third film follow Brian De Palma‘s 1983 remake starring Al Pacino and will be reportedly be set in Los Angeles, with the script provided by none other than Joel and Ethan Coen.
