Boost Includes Lazada Malaysia and McDonald’s As Growing Digital Partners

Homegrown e-wallet Boost has announced that it has created new partnerships with Lazada Malaysia and McDonald’s as a continuation of Boost’s efforts to drive seamless behaviours among digital providers to expand online and offline offerings in order to build a robust cashless and digital ecosystem in the country.

Boost users can now shop in Lazada Malaysia by signing in with their registered mobile number and 6-digit PIN for their Boost accounts. As for McDonald’s, users can use Boost to pay for both online McDelivery and in-store orders.

“This is part of our goal this year to chart the way into the now normal – a digital and contactless world – by building Boost to be the essential toolkit for everything you need online and offline through an omni-channel e-wallet platform.

Together with our partners, we will push ourselves to introduce more innovative features for both consumers and businesses that will  enable easier and instant access to day-to-day lifestyle necessities at the tap of the screen,” said Mohd Khairil Abdullah, the CEO of Boost.

To celebrate the partnerships, starting from February 19 to 28, users can enjoy RM5 off with a minimum spend of RM50 through the Lazada Malaysia app by paying using Boost.

“As part of ongoing efforts to become a leading lifestyle destination for Malaysians, Lazada continues to innovate products that combine rewarding and entertaining shopping experiences with the best deals.

This partnership with Boost makes a great choice for shoppers who are unafraid to embrace cashless digital lifestyle solutions and demand more value out of their purchases,” said Diana Boo, Chief Marketing Officer, Lazada Malaysia.

Any users who use Boost to pay online for their McDelivery orders can also earn an instant cashback of RM5 with a minimum spend of RM25, which can be used at any McDonalds outlet or online through McDelivery.

In conjunction with the event, Boost will be running an ‘Online Festival’ until March 31. The ‘Online Festival’ is part of the e-wallet’s larger #BoostGotYou which launched last March as Malaysians learned to stay safe while battling the pandemic.

Boost users can enjoy these rewards for the next six weeks:

  • Stand a chance to win an iPhone 12 weekly with a minimum spend of RM80 at any online store when paying with Boost. There will be two iPhone 12s up for grabs weekly. If users spend at the following selected partners, users gain 3x the entries.
  • Enjoy up to 28% cashback until 28th February with the Boost Partner Wallet at online merchant partners including grocery shopping with Potboy, JOCOM and MyCookingStory; order food delivery from EASI and McDelivery; as well as home decorating and wellness with Bloomspace.co, Mr. Speedy and Watsons Online.
