Recently, Blizzard announced Diablo Immortal, a mobile version of Diablo at Blizzcon. It didn’t receive a welcoming response from gamers as Blizzard expected it to be. Now, Blizzard is reportedly developing a mobile version of Warcraft despite the lack of support received for mobile games.
An “incubation” development team is responsible for the mobile version of Warcraft. The company was inspired to develop the game because of how much of love Blizzard has for Warcraft. In addition to that, there are a lot of Blizzard employees who enjoy playing mobile games especially Pokemon Go. Many companies seem to get inspiration from Pokemon Go to develop games similar to it and Blizzard is also one of them.
World of Warcraft or Warcraft for short has been around since 2004 and the community for the game keeps growing. It is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game. There’s also a movie which is based on the characters from the game called Warcraft. There is an increasing number of people who plays mobile games and Blizzard actually took this opportunity to introduce Diablo Immortal. Seems like there’s no stopping Blizzard from developing games for mobile.
