Rumour has it that BlackBerry will be releasing a new smartphone soon dubbed BlackBerry Motion, earlier reported by top tech blogger Evan Blass, the TCL produced device will also be water resistant.

Engadget picked up the news and has ran a leaked image of the device from @evblass has reconfirmed the fact with the manufacturer who revealed the info apart from water resistant, the Android based Motion which was code named Krypton will have a headphone jack, home button, signature black look, 26 hour battery life and high-end security features that BlackBerry takes exceptional pride of.

A succession of launches could be the way forward for the brand, right off the heel of KeyOne we now hear about the Motion coming not too long with next month being the indication so far. TCL will select regions to launch the device first before worldwide availability. Brightstar is the local distributor for BlackBerry.
