Bioware’s much-anticipated Anthem comes out early next year, and to get fans excited, a new trailer will be shown at The Game Awards 2018 next week. That’s not all, though, as Bioware is teasing a possible Dragon Age reveal as well.
Bioware General Manager Casey Hudson mentioned as much on the company’s blog, stating that we can expect news on the next Dragon Age as early as next month.
“You know we’re also working on some secret Dragon Age stuff,” Hudson said. “Dragon Age is an incredibly important franchise in our studio, and we’re excited to continue its legacy.”
“Look for more on this in the coming month (though I won’t tell you where to look…).”
Development on the next Dragon Age is no mystery. Earlier in the year, Hudson talked about how the next Dragon Age was being designed as a ‘live’ game, meaning that it would accommodate for continued storytelling.
The previous game in the franchise, Dragon Age: Inquisition, launched in 2014. Considering this big time gap, it may very well be a ripe time for us to have a good look at what the next Dragon Age is all about.
As for Anthem, a teaser has already been posted on Twitter, which pretty much confirms at least one game from Bioware at the upcoming awards ceremony:
