Shopee, the mobile platform for entrepreneurship will be launching its biggest ever mobile sale event on 9th September (this year and every year from now) and extending its Free Shipping promotion until Merdeka Day on 31st of August 2016. Shopee is also tying itself up with Pos Laju and Pos Laju has extended its value-added services to services such as Ezi-Drop and EziDrive-Thru to provide more convenience to buyers and sellers on the mobile e-commerce platform.
“We will prepare as many sellers as possible for what will be the biggest mobile commerce event happening this September” said Ian Ho, Regional Managing Director of Shopee. As a mobile-first social marketplace, Shopee is set to continue its upward trajectory with the region’s first ever mobile shopping day on September 9th.
Earlier In June , Shopee had announced its free Free Shipping services for all buyers and sellers on Shopee. The ground-breaking Shopee’s Free Shipping Program dramatically lowered the barrier to entry to mCommerce, allowing mothers, students, and small business owners to be part of the mobile revolution. Shopee’s Free Shipping Program and nationwide Shopee University further realises Shopee’s vision to enable everyone to buy and sell on mobile.
