To elevate the home cinema experience, BenQ introduces its new CineHome W1700 4K HDR home cinema projector. It comes equipped with the latest in 4K HDR technology, offering 8.3 million pixel true UHD 4K resolution. It also promises to display true-to-life imagery with its projection-optimised HDR capabilities.
But how does the CineHome W1700 produce 8.3 million true pixels in UHD 4k resolution? That is thanks to 0.47-inch single-DMD DLP technology, which keeps the projector at its sleek and compact state and a pure 4k-optimised optical system that promises unparalleled image precision and colour accuracy.

To ensure it lives up to the standards of true 4K video quality, the CineHome W1700 supports HDR 10, which offers greater brightness and contrast range with auto image optimisation that will bring out lifelike detail onto its projection.
With colour reproduction and accuracy being a one of the main focal points of the CineHome W1700, it utilises BenQ’s CinematicColor technology alongside the RGBRGB colour wheel to meet the ridiculously high standards of the film industry in terms of colour accuracy. BenQ promises that the CineHome W1700 will reproduce colours to a T, thanks to its 96% Rec. 709 colour gamut coverage with precise Delta E<3 performance.
The CineHome W1700 will be available come January 2018 with a RM7,999 price tag. It will also be available on Lazada as well as authorised dealers.
