Gamers, rejoice! They’re finally here! ASUS ROG Malaysia just announced all of the Intel 10th Gen Series Gaming Laptops.
Tonight during a virtual launch on Facebook Live, ASUS Malaysia has officially announced new the ASUS ROG Zephyrus series, as well as the STRIX series laptops, and they come equipped with impressive tech specs.
Let’s get straight to the pricing, so how much do these laptops costs? Well the ASUS ROG Zephyrus series ranges from RM6,999 to RM 10, 499 while the STRIX series starts from RM4,399 to RM 7,499. You can expect some of the laptops to be available for purchase some time in early September but don’t worry as some of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus and STRIX series laptops are available for purchase from today onwards.
During the virtual launch, ASUS ROG Head of Technical Marketing, Sascha Krohn mentioned the most memorable improvement and what makes these laptops so special and it’s that all of them comes with Liquid Metal thermal compound which improves the cooling performance.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus series comes equipped with up to an Intel Core i7-10875H processor, GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q, up to 32GB RAM, up to 1TB SSD and up to 17.3-inch 300Hz G-Sync Pantone validated display. The ROG STRIX, on the other hand, comes with up to an RTX 2070 Super, up to 17.3-inch display and it supports up to 240Hz refresh rate while the rest of the specs remains largely the same.
The most talked about laptop during the launch, the Zephyrus Duo 15, comes equipped with up to a 10th Generation Intel Core i9-10980HK processor, up to an RTX 2080 Super Max-Q, 32GB of RAM, as well as 1TB + 1GB SSD in RAID 0 configuration for maximum performance. The laptop also comes with the ScreenPad Plus, which is a secondary display right above the keyboard as you can see below. Sweet!
Towards the end of the virtual launch, there was a brief tutorial and explanation video on how the ScreenPad Plus works. In addition, it also supports both touch input and stylus input, enabling users to quickly write down notes or even sketch on the laptop without the need for an external tablet.
If you think all these laptops are just for gaming, you thought wrong. These laptops were also made to allow users to be creative as many gamers out there now are not only gaming but are live streaming and sharing their content online. These new ASUS laptop series will give you pro gaming and pro creative experience.
