SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) and STPM (Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia) students who have obtained their examination results are invited to apply for the Elena Cooke Education Fund for financial assistance.
Elena Cooke Education Fund, managed under BBGS Alumni Berhad (BAB) has teamed up with Sunway College and Sunway University to in assisting young Malaysians to pursue tertiary education.
Students below the age of 23 as of December 2020, with a household income less than RM60,000 per annum in 2019 and 2020 are eligible to apply.
The Elena Cooke Education Fund, established in memory of BBGS’s longest-serving headmistress, the late Miss Elena Maude Cooke, aims to bring out financially disadvantaged students from the cycle of poverty by providing them access to education.
The application is now open from April 19 and the closing date is on May 31. The application form can be downloaded from www.bbgs.com.my.
Donations to the Elena Cooke Education Fund are welcomed from corporate donors and individuals. They can either write a cheque or do an inter-bank transfer to the bank account of BBGS Alumni Berhad (Maybank Account No: 5141 2316 6380). Donors should inform BAB via [email protected] so that receipts can be issued.
