Apple is moving forward by streamlining its iOS and macOS ecosystems. According to a report by 9to5Mac, Apple is bringing iOS features such as Screen Time and Siri Shortcuts to macOS later this year. Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June would be the event where this update will be shown as part of macOS 10.15. Apple’s Screen Time lets you set limits on how long you use certain apps. This feature can be accessed from System Preferences on macOS.

Siri Shortcuts is another iPhone feature that Apple will bring to macOS. It allows more apps to work with Siri by letting you create voice-activated shortcuts for the ones you use most frequently. This would make Mac apps more useful and it also helps iOS developers bring their apps to macOS. 

A report on Bloomberg was revealed that Apple will let developers create apps that work on both iOS and macOS all at once. Nicknamed “Marzipan” it has been in the works by years. Stay tuned to WWDC updates for more news.
