Appeal Procedure For RM100 Rejected eMadani Application

Since the commencement of applications for the RM100 eMadani eWallet credit on December 4, eligible Malaysians have been swiftly receiving their credits.

However, a number of individuals have reported rejections despite meeting the criteria. Here’s a guide on how to appeal if you find yourself eligible for the RM100 eWallet credit.

eMadani RM100 eWallet Credit Eligibility:

  • Malaysian citizen
  • 21 years old or older in 2023
  • Sumbangan Tunai Ramah recipient (as of November 7, 2023), or earning RM100,000 or less per year based on LHDN’s records (as of July 15, 2023)
  • Have not received RM200 eWallet credit under eBeliaRahmah
  • Completed the electronic Know-Your-Customer (e-KYC) verification process with one of the participating eWallets (Setel, Shopee Pay, TNG eWallet, or MAE)

Reasons for Rejection: An application may be rejected if details such as name and IC are incorrectly entered or if the individual does not fulfill citizenship, age, and income requirements.

Some reported rejections were due to the absence of LHDN tax filing records for the year 2022.

Dispute Filing Process:

  1. For Setel Users:
    • Submit a dispute to [email protected].
    • If the rejection is due to invalid identification, additional information may be required during the dispute process.
  2. For Shopee Pay Users:
    • Contact Shopee customer service to raise a dispute.
    • Select “eMadani Claimants” as your user type, choose “eMadani Unable to claim,” and provide personal details.
    • Attach supporting screenshots.
  3. For TNG eWallet Users:
    • File a dispute by submitting a request.
    • Choose “eMADANI” and “Claim Rejected” as the type of support.
    • Provide details about the rejection and attach supporting documents.
  4. For MAE by Maybank2u Users:
    • Reach out to Maybank Group Customer Care at 1300-88-6688 or write to [email protected].
    • Follow the dispute process with the respective eWallet service provider.

If an eMadani application is rejected despite meeting the requirements, individuals are encouraged to follow the specific dispute procedures outlined by the respective eWallet service providers for further assistance.

The RM100 eWallet credit can only be redeemed once from one of the participating eWallets, and any repeated redemptions will be rejected.
